General Information About Our Staff and Patient Experiences 

When you choose a plastic surgeon, your are choosing the staff as well. At our office, we have a talented surgeon and an exceptional staff. Everyone will contribute to your positive experience from your first phone call or e-mail to your last postoperative visit.

We are committed to providing patients with individual attention. Our staff is trained to understand the most recent advances in aesthetic surgery and have been hired for their efficiency, caring nature, and warmth. Our goal is to exceed your expectations, with kindness, concern, expertise, and professionalism.

Debbie Donovan

Debbie Donovan, our Registered Nurse and Patient Coordinator, is the primary point of contact from consultation to surgery and beyond. After your consultation with Dr. Friedlander, Debbie will review the fees and cost of the procedure, as well as answer any additional questions you may have. If you have a specific date in mind we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. Debbie has worked in the field of plastic surgery for over 20 years and brings maturity and experience to her patient counseling. There isn't a cosmetic surgery question she has not answered at one point or another in the office or by e-mail. She loves working with people and is a great advocate of people who do what it takes to feel better about themselves. Debbie is also a skin care specialist and performs glycolic peels, microdermabrasion, injects collagen and removes sutures.

 

Lulis Leal

Lulis Leal is our Office Administrator. Prior to moving to New Jersey, Lulis worked as a Patient Coordinator and Patient Rights Advocate in a large hospital in San Antonio. She left medicine for a few years, when she moved to New York City to enter the corporate world, but returned to a field where "compassion and understanding" play a large role in her work. She uses her organizational skills to facilitate open communication and to ensure smooth functioning of the office. Lulis prides herself on being friendly and accommodating, and focuses on whatever it takes to make you feel happy and comfortable. She truly enjoys the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people and assist them in feeling better about themselves. Lulis speaks Spanish fluently and is able to help out at a moments notice.

 

Lisa Pereira

Lisa Pereira our Administrative Assistant, and is no stranger to medicine. She entered the medical profession as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation therapist. Her love for the field has grown immensely and she is now pursuing her nursing license at night. Lisa assists in the office in a day-to-day fashion. She will schedule your appointments and be able to answer your billing questions. She loves working with people and plans on using the knowledge and experience she has gained in this office in her future endeavors.
